Team Talk: Meet Michael!

Welcome to Team Talk, our series where we chat with the incredible people that help make Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma-Marin such a special and important place for the youth in our community. Today we’re connecting with Michael G., Area Director for our Windsor and Mark West Clubs.

Let’s get to know Michael!

1) How long have you worked for Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma-Marin?

7 years

2) What do you enjoy most about your job?

Interacting with kids and trying to find as many ways to make our programs as engaging and exciting for them as possible.

4) What do you like to do when you're not working?

I like to play board games, hike, rock climb, workout, read, and play video games.

5) What do love about living in Sonoma County?

The weather and how close we are to pretty much everything: the city, snow, ocean, lakes, rivers, and hiking.

6) What did you love about being a kid?

I miss only having the responsibility of good grades and chores.

9) What's your favorite holiday & why?

Halloween because of spooky things… and costumes are the best!
