The History of Healdsburg’s Scarecrow Festival

The Healdsburg Scarecrow Festival was started by and continues to run thanks to the Healdsburg Creative Leadership Team. It is an annual community art project that raises funds for local non-profits and engages friends, families, organizations, other local non-profits and the diverse range of the community in creating interactive public art for locals and visitors to enjoy each year around Halloween.   Established in 2020, it was a way for the community to come back together during the pandemic. Building on its success, 2024 will be its 5th year.
