$100 gives 4 hours of homework support to students in need.
$250 provides a young person the chance to join a soccer team.
$500 supports 10 young chefs in a healthy cooking program.

Alejandro, age 10
10-year-old Alejandro dreams of becoming an engineer or a scientist, a passion ignited by the exciting projects at Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma-Marin. He loves building robots and discovering how things work. However, with his parents focused on providing for their family, resources for science kits and STEM education are limited. The Clubs become a place where his curiosity is nurtured and encouraged. Volunteers help with challenging concepts, and the Clubs provide access to technology and STEM programs. As Alejandro continues at the Clubs, he'll participate in robotics competitions, visit science museums, and meet inspiring engineers and scientists. With every experiment conducted and every encouraging word, he'll feel closer to becoming Dr. Alejandro, a future he is determined to invent.
Sofia, age 9
Sofia dreams of being the first in her family to graduate high school and college. This dream is fueled by a desire to break the cycle and create a better future for herself. Sometimes this goal feels lonely and hard with her parents working long hours and educational resources scarce. Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma-Marin has become her haven. Volunteers help with homework, and the Clubs can connect her with mentors and college prep programs. As Sofia continues at the Clubs, she'll receive guidance on applying for financial aid and scholarships. She'll visit college campuses, meet inspiring graduates, and with every essay written and every encouraging word, feel closer to receiving her diploma – a future she is determined to achieve.
